Tips for Investing with a VA Loan

Using a VA loan is a great way for veterans or active duty service members to build out a solid real estate portfolio. You can obtain a VA loan for 0% down, buy a multifamily property, and live in one unit. There are so many benefits to this strategy, including having your living expenses covered. It’s also worth noting that you can take advantage of multiple loans through the VA. Friend of the show, Michael Foster has an amazing book on this topic; it’s called Military House Hacking.

The Future of Banking

There’s a lot of talk about a potential banking collapse… personally, I don’t see this happening on a global level. It’s more likely that smaller banks will be gobbled up, like what we saw with Silicon Valley Bank. Ultimately, these things are outside of our control. I find more value in focusing on building wealth and buying smart investments now.
