How to Buy Real Estate with a Bad Credit Score
One of my favorite strategies for investing with a bad credit score is with a non-recourse loan. A non-recourse loan is a business loan that is based on the merit of the asset. Sometimes a non-recourse loan can have slightly higher interest rates, but if you buy right, you can make a solid investment. A partnership is another idea you might want to pursue. My General Philosophy on Selling Rental Properties
Every experienced investor I’ve spoken with has had one main regret: selling their assets. Unless a property has a major problem, I don’t like to sell. At Morris Invest, we have found that most investors only need four or five properties to reach financial freedom. If you understand the benefits of investing in real estate, I would work on growing your portfolio instead of selling a property.
How to Use Your Home Equity to Invest
If you have equity available, I’m a big proponent of using a home equity line of credit to buy rental properties. This can be a great way to go from homeowner to investor. Run the numbers and make sure your rental property can cover your payment.
