Options for Affordable Rental Properties
If you’re looking to build new construction rental properties but are put off by high lumber prices, this option might not be totally off the table. I’d suggest checking in with some local building companies. Often when a company builds in bulk, they are able to lock in lower material prices. This is what we do at our company, and luckily we were able to secure low lumber prices before rates skyrocketed.
What Types of Partnership Options We Offer
We offer a Partnership Program that allows you to invest with another family member, business partner, or friend! Typically, our partners split the down payment 50/50, but you can also work with multiple partners. Our team can help you and your partner(s) set up an LLC and create a strategy that works for all parties. Here is a video that explains our partnership program.
How to Decide If You Should Buy Now or Save Up for a Larger Down Payment
While I can’t offer you specific advice, I can tell you this: interest rates are very low, and we don’t anticipate them staying this low for long. If I were making this decision, I would try to get into the market sooner rather than later. If you can lock in lower interest rates, that’s probably a good move!
