It’s phenomenal to think that less than two years ago, Cody Hofhine knew nothing about real estate. In fact, he wasn’t even interested in the business! While working in the insurance industry, Cody started attending real estate meetings to gain clients.

But as he started learning more about real estate investing, he started to see the power of passive income. Cody began wholesaling, which he describes as the art of locating deeply discounted properties. There are numerous outcomes that can occur from wholesaling, but Cody has started using it as a means to become a buy and hold investor.

He finds the properties he likes at a discounted rate, and keeps them as a passive income stream. By using his wholesaling tactics, such as mailers, Cody has uncovered some incredible deals. He currently owns two single-family properties, and is on his way to owning a multi-family unit, and a commercial office space.
